CONCLUDING A TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR UNOPS STAFF AND PARTNERS ON PROJECT ELECTRONIC EVALUATION SYSTEM (FIELDSIGHT)

A training workshop on electronic monitoring and evaluation system for projects, organised by UNOPS, for 57 trainees was concluded.

The goal of the workshop was to present the new system with its different components and uses to ensure the quality implementation of projects and works. This workshop comes as part of UNOPS strategy to build the capacities of its own staff members and partners for a better monitoring and evaluation for projects.

It is worth noting that UNOPS, with funding from IDA – World Bank Group, is currently implementing two emergency projects costing 200 million US dollars; Yemen Integrated Urban Services Emergency Project “an integrated multi-sector project” to restore and improve access to public social services in urban areas, including water and sanitation, solid waste management and electricity; and Yemen Emergency Electricity Access Project “a solar energy project” to provide improved access to electricity in rural and semi-urban areas of Yemen.
